He was born in 1941 in Istanbul. He completed his primary and secondary education at Fatih Primary School, Gelenbevi Secondary School and Vefa High School. He completed his medical education at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and his specialty training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neuropsychiatry. He worked as a faculty member in Samsun Military Hospital, S.B. Samsun State Hospital, Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, Haseki Training and Research Hospital, Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Medicine Department of Neurology, Consultant Neurologist in American and German Hospital, Neuropsychiatry specialist in Turkish Heart Foundation Neurocardiology Center. Scientific studies abroad: As Visiting Neurologist, Department of Neurology in ST Thomas Hospital and National For Nervous Disease London / UK. Following her work as a Postdosctoral Research Fellow in sleep disorders, Parkinson’s diseases and movement disorders clinic, Restorative neurology and Human neurobiology in Baylor College of Medicine Houston / Texas, Parkinson’s clinic NIH, NINDS, BETHESDA, MD- USA as Adjunct investigator, she continues to serve at Private Medikent Hospital since 2018.
He is married and has two children. His hobbies include classical music, traveling, theater, watching football and volleyball matches and hiking.
