It is a branch of science that applies the diagnosis and treatment methods of surgical diseases related to congenital and\/or acquired respiratory, digestive and excretory systems of childhood (0-17 years) from the newborn period to adulthood.<\/p>\n

Children are never a diminutive version of adults. Childhood has its own physiology and diseases. Diseases seen in childhood show different characteristics depending on the period. The diagnosis and treatment of these diseases should take into account the child’s development, physiology and psychology. Diseases requiring surgical approach should be evaluated and performed by Pediatric Surgeons <\/strong>who determine and apply specific diagnostic and treatment methods.<\/p>\n

Patients carry the consequences of a surgical intervention in childhood with them for a lifetime. Therefore, all these interventions should be performed by well-trained pediatric surgeons <\/strong>who have undergone a long and demanding training, who have learned the most disciplined and modern treatment techniques, who can take the initiative and apply the most ideal treatment in a very short time.<\/p>\n
