Urology
I was born in 1957 in Komotini (Greece). I completed primary school at Komotini Osmaniye Primary School and high school at Komotini Minority High School. I entered Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1977 and graduated in 1983. After completing my specialty education in Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology between 1984-1989, I started to work as a Specialist Dr. in Trakya University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology in 1990. I worked as Assistant Professor Dr. in the Department of Urology of Trakya University Faculty of Medicine between 1992-2001, Associate Professor Dr. between 2001-2007 and Professor Dr. between 2007-2024.
As an administrative duty, I was the Head of the Department of Urology at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine for five terms (fourteen years) and retired in 2024. I am married and have a daughter.
