Pediatric Surgery

.

I was born in 1985 in Şanlıurfa. In 2009, I graduated from Firat University Faculty of Medicine. I received my specialization in pediatric surgery in 2022 from Harran University, where the birth rate and the proportion of children is the highest. I did my compulsory service at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, the largest hospital in Istanbul.

For me, children are the purest, most hopeful part of life. A smile on their face is the greatest reward worth all the labor and effort. I, Op. Dr. Mehmet Çakmak, with the thousands of surgeries I have performed and the experience I have gained in the field of pediatric surgery, I approach every little patient not as a “case” but as a “trust”.

Since medical school, I have seen that every life touched by children is special and valuable. I learned that every surgery is not just an operation; it is a journey woven with compassion, patience and trust. In every intervention, I take care to act with both the meticulousness of a physician and the compassion of a father.

.

Using all the possibilities of modern medicine, I offer a wide range of services from newborn to 18 years of age. My aim is not only to treat, but also to reassure families. Because I know that when a child is safe, a family is at peace. Pediatric surgery is not a profession for me, it is a way of life.

With each little patient I heal, another hope is added to this journey.
