Surgical Intervention: It is the process of shaping the body by absorbing regional fat resistant to exercise and diet. The most frequently applied areas are: hips, abdomen and its surroundings, legs, arms, neck and under the chin.
1. Classical method: The fat tissue is brought to a size that can be removed with a liposuction cannula.
2. Vaser: Fat tissue is broken down with sound waves and becomes suitable for removal. It works especially well in areas with hard tissue such as the back. The surgical time is slightly longer compared to the classical technique.
3. Laser: As the name suggests, laser energy is utilized to make the fat tissue to be absorbed. It is the best option if there is a possibility of sagging after fat removal. Its use requires more experience.
4. Motorized cannulas: There is no major advantage over the classical method.
5. Water jet: Fat tissue is broken down and removed with pressurized water delivered through the tip of a specially designed cannula. It is a relatively new technology, not yet very widespread.
