I was born on January 31, 1973, in Akçaabat, Trabzon. I completed my primary and middle school education in Akçaabat. In 1991, I entered Ege University Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 1997 with the title of ‘Medical Doctor’. Between 1998 and 2000, I completed my obligatory service at the Rize/Kalkandere Yolbaşı Health Center.
In February 2000, I began my residency training at the İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital ENT Clinic, and in October 2004, I passed the specialization exam and graduated as an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Specialist. I completed my 1-year military duty at the Sivas Military Hospital in 2005.
Between 2006 and 2008, I worked at the Private Çerkezköy Hospital. After working at the Balıkesir Dursunbey State Hospital for 1 year in 2009, I worked at the Balıkesir City Hospital between 2010 and 2021, and subsequently retired. As of June 2021, I worked in my private clinic in Altıeylül, Balıkesir.
