Born in Varna, Bulgaria in 1966, Op. Dr. Sevgin Mert completed his primary and secondary education in Shumen.
He obtained his medical degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Istanbul Süleymaniye Maternity and Women’s Diseases Hospital.
Dr. Mert began his medical career in 1993 at Çorum Ovacık State Hospital. Over the years, he served as a specialist at prominent healthcare institutions, including Süleymaniye Maternity Hospital, Giresun Bulancak State Hospital, and Saray State Hospital.
Following his extensive clinical experience in the public sector, he joined Special Medikent Hospital in 2008, where he continues to provide healthcare services to his patients.
Fluent in Bulgarian and Russian, Op. Dr. Sevgin Mert is married and the father of two children. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys skiing, swimming, and following sports events.
