Penile Prosthesis Insertion
Following insertion of a urethral catheter under spinal anesthesia, the skin and subcutaneous tissues are cut through a 3-4 cm incision made under the penis and the cavernosal structures that provide the erection of the penis are reached.
The cavernous structures inside the penis that provide erection are expanded with metal rods of increasing diameter and length until they are long and wide enough for the prosthesis to enter.
The prostheses prepared afterwards

The cut layers are closed by suturing with surgical threads in accordance with the anatomy.
