UROFLOWMETRY test, which shows the speed, shape and amount of urine flow, is performed under the supervision of a specialist physician in our hospital. It is used to investigate impaired voiding function due to causes related to the urinary bladder or diseases after the exit of the urinary bladder (such as prostatic hypertrophy, urethral strictures).
Uses of Uroflowmetry
Lower urinary tract obstructions: BPH (benign prostate diseases), urethral strictures, prostate cancer, bladder neck strictures, phimosis.
Voiding defects Insufficient detrusor contractions, hyper/hypocompliant bladder.
Follow-up and drug dosage adjustment of patients undergoing medical treatment or surgery for lower urinary tract obstruction.
Observation of changes in the ability to urinate in patients who have undergone brain – spinal cord operation.

1. Maximum voiding rate (Maximum Flow Rate-Fmean)
2. Mean voiding rate (Mean Flow Rate -Fmean)
3. Voiding time (Vtime)
4. Time to reach maximum voiding rate (Time-to-Fmax)
5. Voided Urine Volume (Obstruction, phimosis, inadequate hyper/hypocompliant)
